Beyond One Lane: How Uni’May Is Building a Creative Universe of Her Own

Some creatives find their lane. Uni’May decided to build the entire road.

Born in New York and Afro-Latina by heritage, Uni’May is a multidimensional creative whose world stretches across art, music, modelling, photography, creative direction, and entrepreneurship. For her, creativity has never been about choosing one identity over another. It has always been a way to understand herself, process her experiences, and turn them into something meaningful.

Now, she is bringing all those worlds together under one ambitious idea: the Uni-verse.

WELCOME TO THE UNI-VERSE

The Uni-verse is more than a personal brand. It is an ecosystem where every side of Uni’May’s creativity exists as its own world—or planet—while remaining connected to one larger vision.

Music can have its own universe.
Photography can have its own universe.
Fashion, art, business, and everything in between can exist as different expressions of the same creative identity.

The beauty is that none of them have to compete.

They all lead back to Uni’May.

A CREATIVE WITHOUT BORDERS

For someone who has never felt destined to exist in just one lane, the Uni-verse feels almost inevitable.

Rather than forcing herself into a category that makes her easier to understand, Uni’May is embracing the complexity of being multidimensional.

Her work reflects that freedom—a willingness to experiment, evolve, and allow different parts of her identity to speak.

And that may be the most exciting thing about her journey: she isn’t trying to figure out which version of herself is the “real” one.

She is making room for all of them.

THE ART OF REBUILDING

If there is one experience that has shaped Uni’May most, it is rebuilding.

Starting again has a way of changing how you see yourself. It forces you to question what matters, what stays, and what you’re willing to carry into the next chapter.

For Uni’May, rebuilding has become part of the creative process itself.

Every new idea becomes another piece of the bigger picture. Every reinvention adds another planet to the Uni-verse.

MAKING ROOM FOR MORE

Over the next three to five years, Uni’May sees the Uni-verse growing beyond a personal brand into a recognizable creative world—one with its own identity, language, and expanding community.

But perhaps the most powerful part of her vision isn’t the scale. It’s the permission behind it.

Permission to be many things.
Permission to evolve.
Permission to take up space.

Her message to anyone who has ever felt pressured to simplify themselves is clear:

“You do not have to make yourself smaller in order to make yourself understandable or digestible.”

And maybe that’s exactly what the Uni-verse represents—a world where being multidimensional isn’t a complication.

It’s the whole point.
