What started as a difficult moment during a family meeting has become a powerful reminder to stop waiting and start moving. For FaroukOH, the message is simple: TIME IS NOW.
Every song has a story. For emerging Nigerian artist FaroukOH, the story behind “TIME IS NOW” began with a moment he never expected to turn into music.
Driven by music, purpose, faith, and a desire to inspire the next generation, FaroukOH creates from real-life experiences, emotions, motivation, and everyday stories. His sound is rooted in Afrobeat, but his message comes from the realities of his own journey.
It started with a small misunderstanding during a family meeting.
Although it may have seemed insignificant, the moment stayed with FaroukOH after he got home. The frustration, emotions, and thoughts kept coming back, and rather than keeping everything inside, he picked up his pen and began writing.
That night, the words started flowing.
What began as pain and frustration slowly became something bigger—a reflection on dreams, pressure, self-belief, family, and the determination to keep moving even when the journey becomes difficult.
That was how “TIME IS NOW” was born.
At its core, “TIME IS NOW” is about refusing to give up on yourself.
FaroukOH channels the pressure of chasing his dreams, the desire to make his family proud, the doubts that come with pursuing something uncertain, and the faith that keeps him moving forward.
Rather than waiting for the perfect moment, the song delivers a simple message: sometimes, you have to create the moment yourself.
For FaroukOH, an uncomfortable experience became creative fuel. A difficult night became lyrics, and those lyrics became a song designed to remind others that their dreams are worth pursuing.
Recorded in Abuja, Nigeria, “TIME IS NOW” was produced and mixed by Joe9ice, marking another step in FaroukOH’s journey as an emerging artist.
The record is more than just a new release. It captures a personal experience and transforms it into something listeners can connect with—a reminder that pain can become purpose, setbacks can become motivation, and the road ahead is still worth taking.
Now officially available on all major streaming platforms, “TIME IS NOW” opens a new chapter for FaroukOH and his music.
